| 詳細 | Disaster Management and the role of NGOs Day/Time: Sunday 10:00-16:30 Date: April 7th This class focuses on the disaster management cycles and the role of NGOs in the relief, recovery, mitigation and preparation. After a review of the background and state of disasters in the world today, we focus on approaches to dealing with diverse hazards in different contexts. The classes will include presentation, discussion and simulation activities. We will review methods used by different organizations to better understand ways for dealing with complex issues.
