The United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) invites internship applicants who can provide support in collecting and analysing data on international environmental agreements.
Position Responsibilities:
・Collect and analyse data on international environmental agreements.
・Assist UNU-IAS’s Sustainable Development Governance Programme.
・Support other miscellaneous tasks that may arise.

Required Qualifications:
・Postgraduate student or graduate with passion and interest in the environment, sustainability, international agreements, or related areas. (Applications from mature undergraduate students or graduates are also welcome.)
・Fluency in English is essential.
・Skills in searching for information on the Internet.
・Knowledge in systems theory or network analysis is an advantage.
Duration: Three months (could be extended)
Starting Date: October or November 2013
Interns’ Expenses:
Interns are not financially remunerated by UNU-IAS. The Institute also accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness incurred during the internship. Interns must provide proof of enrolment in a health insurance plan.
