The United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) invites applicants who can provide support in data collection and analysis work.
Position Responsibilities
・Data input and analysis using Excel
・Data collection on transport and energy statistics from national and local government sources, international databases etc.

Required Qualifications
・Proficiency in English (both speaking and reading/writing)
Desirable Qualifications
・Postgraduate student (Master’s level), but undergraduate applicants will also be considered
・Interest and/or prior experience (e.g., through coursework, dissertation, etc.) in quantitative research in transport and energy sectors
・Interest and/or prior experience (e.g., through coursework, dissertation, etc.) in climate change technologies, local solutions, cities, urbanization
Starting Date: June 2013
Duration: 2-3 months (Schedule to be further arranged)
Interns’ Expenses: Interns are not financially remunerated by UNU-IAS. The Institute also accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness incurred during the internship. Interns must provide proof of enrolment in a health insurance plan.
