Charles Sampford will discuss an approach to interdisciplinary governance research that combines the insights of law, ethics, politics and economics. He will discuss its application to the various subjects of governance research (international, regional, national, sub-national, corporate and professional institutions) and, in particular to global governance challenges, in which weaknesses at one institutional "level" are exacerbated by weaknesses in other levels?such as the Global Financial Crisis and the "Global Carbon Crisis".
