Concerned Americans and others in Tokyo announced the launch of an “Alliance for an Inclusive America,” as part of what is “the worldwide call for bridges, not walls.” The Alliance is nonpartisan and multi-faith and open to all. The Alliance will serve as a centralized source of information for a wide range of groups in Japan working to address “Trump Administration actions that contravene our shared values as global citizens.” The Alliance says it will also organize activities aimed at positive and inclusive change.
The Alliance also announced its first major action, a “March For An Inclusive America”
is “to express solidarity with Muslims at a time when their rights are being questioned.”
The march will be held on Sunday, February 12th from 3pm and marchers are asked to assemble from 2pm near NHK Hall at the edge of Yoyogi Park. The march will be family-friendly and persons of all background are welcome.

The march is intended to be positive and inclusive, and participants are asked to refrain from bringing signs with negative slogans. The Alliance requests that marchers carry positive messages; examples are listed on the Facebook page.

世界的運動「壁ではなく橋」に連動し、米国新政権に危惧を抱く東京在住のアメリカ人等が中心となり、「アライアンス・フォー・インクルーシブ・アメリカ」の発足を発表します。このアライアンスは、党派・信仰の垣根を越え全ての方々の参加を歓迎するものです。（アライアンスFacebookページ：https://www.facebook.com/Alliance-for-an-Inclusive-America-1849011975377790/）
同アライアンスは、「グローバル市民としての共通の価値観に反するトランプ政権の政策」に対抗すべく日本で活動する様々なグループに対し情報を提供する包括的情報源としての役割を果たすと共に、ポジティブでインクルーシブな（排他的でない）変化を目指す活動も企画していきます。
設立後初の大規模な活動となる「インクルーシブなアメリカを求めるマーチ」について、アライアンスは、「イスラム教徒の人権が危ぶまれる今、イスラム教徒との団結を示す」活動になります。
